139: BRONZE STAR RECIPIENT 2ND LT. RICHARDSON USMCR UNIFORM

2nd Lt. Malcolm A. Richardson, USMCR, 2nd Marine Division, Pacific Theatre. Uniform consisting of: Tunic with 2nd Division SSI, five place ribbon bar, dog tag with chain, silver bracelet, belt, Croix de Guerre cord, collar and rank insignia, pants and garrison cap. Malcolm enlisted in the USMC on 3 January 1942 with assignment to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Regiment, 2nd Marine Division as a mortar gunner. Seeing action on Guadalcanal, Tarawa and Saipan, he earned the Bronze Star, Good Conduct, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, American Campaign, WWII Victory Medals - along with a Battlefield Promotion. Discharged 27 October 1945.
