SSI; Five place ribbon bars, PUC, with 1 oak leaf cluster; MUC; T/Sgt. sleeve insignia ; SFC sleeve insignia ; Discharge insignia ; Discharge pin; seven Overseas Bars; Visor Cap insignia ; Good Conduct Medal, engraved; Parachute Badge. Cased Bronze Star Medal with oak leaf cluster and V device. Purple heart Medal, engraved, with two oak leaf clusters.

M/Sgt. Sheldon Ehrlich, Co. G, 511th PIR, 11th Airborne Div., Pacific Theatre enlisted in the Army on 3 March 1941. He initially served in the 99th Infantry Division, and was later assigned to the 511th PIR following his parachute qualification. His awards, in addition to the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Good Conduct Medals, consisted of the American Defense Medal, WWII Victory Medal and the CIB.
