115: A RARE J.T. DICKMAN IRON HEART CARD SUIT GALLERY TARGET

This particular example is the only one known in paint that matches that of the Dickman Great Clown (Bright Eye) and club playing card suit also offered in this sale (lot 114). The heart card suit is the most desirable in this series, a great example in old untouched and presumably original red paint with concentric circle bullseye in white. Pictured on Gallery No. 62, page 8 of Dickman's 1921 Catalog E and described on page 28 of that catalog as one of the 'Poker Targets.'
