125: A FOLKY IRON OWL SHOOTING GALLERY TARGET IN OLD PAINT

So far, this is the only known version of this casting. The free-style informal outline and irregularities in manufacture along with its muted, slightly oxidized original paints give it a great folk art quality. At 15 inches high, it has great sculptural impact.

Pictured on page 96 of Sellers' book (Figure 6.43).
Displayed on custom iron stand. This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.
Measures 15 x 7.5 inches, excluding stand.
Very good original condition with inimitable original surface, there are no issues of damage or repair.
