284: TWO EARLY 20TH CENTURY QUILTS, PLUS ANOTHER

1. A red, white and blue quilt with 416 tiny 'Single Star' blocks, hand pieced and quilted, multi-color side borders, red binding, white backing.

2. Thirty polychrome 'Courthouse Square' blocks set in a white background, hand pieced and quilted, green binding, white backing.

3. An appliqued quilt with twenty hand embroidered blocks, embroidered dedication 'For Tracie with Love 1973,' blue sashing, hand quilted, patterned backing with matching binding.
Measures 66 x 76, 88 x 90 and 80 x 66 inches.
Inks within the sprigged calico on both antique quilts have washed away leaving holes in the blocks, no stains. There is an L-shaped tear in the blue sashing of the applique quilt, otherwise very good, clean.
