67: A 19TH C. AMERICAN FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED A WATERS

The tapered barrel stamped US JH and P at the breech. intact flintlock and lockplate stamped with the image of an eagle over lettering A. Waters, Milbury, MS (Massachusetts), 1838, inspector cartouche marks stamped left side of the walnut stock, the original button-head steel ramrod.
Measures 5.5 x 14 x 2.25 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges, 85% finish, good patina.
