The larger with tongue and groove wood staves bound in wood bands with finger laps and copper tacks, bentwood bail handle affixed with a wood pegs, old robin's egg blue paint. Smaller firkin with wood staves bound in wood bands with finger laps, iron tacks, bentwood bail handle affixed with wood pegs, old green paint.
Measures 6.5 x 8 x 7.5 and 10 x 11.5 x 10.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges, excepting the cover of the larger with considerable paint loss and a large chip.
