30: A 19TH CENTURY GILT ZINC DRUGGIST TRADE SIGN WITH EAGLE

The large hollow mortar with very good original surface issuing a pestle handle with figural eagle surmount, the mortar and much of the pestle are in nice untouched surface.
Measures 30.5 x 19 x 13 inches.
Very good condition, largely the original surface, the eagle has been heavily repainted, no evidence of any other work on or near the eagle, mortar and parts of the pestle retain the original finish with variegated patina.
