94: PAIR 19TH C AMERICAN 'GOOD BOY' MINIATURE PAINTED PAILS

Miniature wood stave pails or children's berry buckets constructed in Shaker style with each stave joined tongue and groove technique, original cream ground paint with red and blue colored stencil designs of stars, American flags, horses and the lettering GOOD BOY; iron bands embellished in original blue paint, the bail handle attached using the same diamond-shape mounts found on Shaker berry buckets.
Each measures 3.5 x 4.5 inches.
Very good original condition, noting one iron band missing on the blue pail. There are no other issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
