95: AN INTERESTING COSSACK ON HORSEBACK IRON GALLERY TARGET

The folk art rendition of a Russian Cossack on horseback in traditional cap and with sword upraised, unusual openwork design for a knockdown target, interesting primitive details of reins, saddle, figure, figure's eye, horse's eye; great peened surface from lead bullet strikes and nice smooth antique iron surface. Signed A.J. Smith, Chicago on the back. A great example in various ways.
