10: A BUILDER'S PLATE FOR C.W. PARKER LEAVENWORTH KANSAS

A rare zinc or aluminum oval plate with incised lettering that reads 'BUILT BY C.W. PARKER AMUSE CO LEAVENWORTH KAN.' This is the only known example to date.

Pictured on page 120 of Sellers' book (Figure 8.22). This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.
Measures 7.75 x 23 inches.
Very good original condition.
