The iron silhouette of male figure wearing kepi type cap, multiple layers of old park paint, heavily shot peened exposed iron surface with interesting texture, the mouth opens to a hinged cast iron hammer. When struck, the hammer would contact an iron ball in narrow iron cage with electrical contacts at the opposite end, the iron ball would cross-over the contacts to complete a circuit which could then light a bulb or sound a buzzer. A rare example believed to be the only known example by sellers. The maker is unknown.

Displayed on custom iron stand. This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.
Measures 17 x 12 inches, excluding stand.
