47: A LIGHTNING ROD WEATHER VANE WITH EAGLE CIRCA 1900

The full-bodied zinc American eagle with a very few traces of original gilt finish among the velvety patina, iron directional.
Measures 11 x 26.25 x 1.5 inches.
Very good original condition noting loss to the gilding, one crack near the foot of the eagle, two bullet holes, one split, there are no other issues of damage or repair, very good even overall patina to the figure.
