7: A BLUE DECORATED OVOID SALT GLAZED STONEWARE JUG

The 19th century American ovoid jug decorated with a stylized flower in cobalt blue, impressed 'L. Norton & Son' and '2' on the front, maker's mark used prior to 1841.
Measures 13.5 x 10 inches.
Good condition, noting a sizable chip on the back with a kiln kiss above, chips to the upper rim, firing crack under the strap handle.
