8: A 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN BLANKET CHEST IN OLD BLUE PAINT

The hinged lid with breadboard ends and molded frame on dovetailed case with base molding, iron lock and brass hinges, the end handles have been removed.
Measures 10.75 x 12.5 x 22.25 inches.
Very good condition, noting some enhancement of the blue paint, removal of handles, split at one hinge, minor wear and the effects of use.
