The semi-ovoid two gallon jug with freehand cobalt blue slip decoration of a whimsical flower impressed N. CLARK & CO., ROCHESTER, N.Y. Plus a similar example with chip at spout and base stamped HARRINGTON & BURGER, ROCHESTER.
Measures 15.5 x 9 and 14 x 8 inches.
Clark is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs. The Burger has a chip at the base and a large area of damage at the mouth.
