71: LITHO OF CUNARD STEAMSHIP LUSITANIA, AFTER FRED PANSING
The large format lithograph after a painting by Frederick Pansing (184 - 1912), the Lusitania was torpedoed by the German U-boat U- on May 7, 1915 during the First World War and the early days of submarine warfare, the image in two colors was printed by American Lithographic CO., N.Y., displayed in period frame.
Sight size measures 32.25 x 43.5 with a framed size of 43 x 54 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean but for foxing in the lower margin, no other visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
