11: A VERY RARE POLLY'S SODA POP DIE CUT ADVERTISING SIGN

The red, white and blue letterpress sign reads 'Beat the Heat, Polly's Soda Pop,' die cut with impressed text, a lithograph vignette with parrot applied to the middle of the sign, two brass grommets, circa the second quarter of the 20th century.
Measures 14 x 11 inches.
Very good condition, noting the absence of some of the red pigment in the word 'Beat,' scattered stains and toning.
Provenance: Polly's Soda Pop was in business from 1923 to 1967 in Independence, Missouri. In 2016, Polly's Pop was resurrected and is located in the historic Independence Square.
