The elaborate French style spelter case with rococo swirls above the porcelain enamel clock dial flanked by upward reaching cherubs and openings for winding mandrels for the time and strike movement over a waisted portion upon a wide asymmetrical four legged base with even more rococo swirls and floral garland in spelter relief, signed on the movement and the dial.
Measures 13.5 x 9 x 5 inches.
Good cosmetic condition, noting a chi to the very top scroll and minor light wear, toning and oxidation to the majority of the surface, no chips, cracks or repairs to the dial, the movement is intact but for pendulum, the working condition is assumed but not known.
