363: A PAIR CIRCA 1900 LARGE EMPIRE INFLUENCE CANDELABRA

The ornate brass or bronze casting of nice quality with triparte base comprised of three outward facing winged griffins as figural feet supporting a tier of four arms with acanthus buds and leaves sweeping outward and upward from the center support and terminating in candle cups; the central support issuing upward arms with acanthus leaves and candle sockets.
Measure 28 x 19 inches each.
Very good condition, noting the loss of some bobeche, the underside of the base indicates previous gilding.
