422: A 19TH C. CONTINENTAL POTTERY URN IN FINE ORMOLU MOUNTS

The oval double-waisted pottery urn mounted with elaborate rococo rim centered by winged cherub busts among elaborate rococo swirls, high handles mounted on each end of the vessel with pedestal base raised on an ornate ormolu foot in elaborate rococo swirls and, again, fine gold dore' finish. The pottery of textured exterior ground is decorated in polychrome enamels with gilt highlights.
Measures 12.5 x 19.5 x 11 inches.
