672: A CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN URN SET WITH FRENCH CLOCK

The porcelain urn with gold tracery, enamel decoration and ormolu mounts centered by a clock movement with ornate ormolu castings surrounding the porcelain enamel dial fronting an unmarked time only brass plate movement, all raised on a cast circular base with four feet. No maker's markings were found.
Measures 24 x 9 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. Apart from a fissure in the brass base, there are no chips, cracks, repairs or issues of heavy wear to the porcelain body or the dial.
