The walnut case with open pediment and arch top over clock dial with Roman numerals, shaped applied raised walnut panels around lower 8 inch calendar dial has 31 date Arabic numbers, day and month apertures and crescent cutout exposing the pendulum signed H.B. Horton Patents - April 18, 1885 - Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. 8 Day, spring driven, brass movement fancy lower bracket.
Measures 23 x 11.75 x 4.25 inches. Dials measure 6.25 and 8.25 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. The top finial is missing, top dial is a replacement, the lower dial has semi-amateur restoration, the case is in very good condition with nice old - possibly original - finish.
