The brick red quartered field with rows of nicely spaced double-headed bird neck and head devices (rather than the similar less-defined elements sometimes referred to as candelabra) in two compartments divided by a central horizontal band with hexagonal cartouches, the outer border with stylized birds more defined across the top above the mihrab-like design, the horizontal banded lower end with diagonal rows of alternating blue and ivory plants above the brown end skirt with pinwheels; various other interesting devices.
Measures 52 x 41 inches.
Good condition noting an area of heavy wear to the foundation as shown, re-wrapped sides, a dry, dusty and unwashed estate rug; no pet stain, hardened area or odor.
