323: A NICELY BALANCED SOUTHWEST PERSIAN KAMSEH BAG FACE

The lustrous example with well saturated colors and dark blue field with a central ivory cruciform centerpiece surrounded by four floating ivory star medallions each enclosing similar cruciform devices linked to colorful palmettes; all surrounded by a mass of polychrome flowerheads and four chickens of alternating blue and apricot, a pale blue border enclosing continuous angular vines with flowerheads and diagonal leaves, a nice, crisply drawn 19th century example with great color.
Measures 26.50 x 22 inches.
Very good condition. Clean and odor free with intact edges on all four sides, original edge wrap, thick pile overall, no damage, repair, odor or stain.
