316: A GOOD 19TH CENTURY FIRKIN IN ALLIGATORED BLUE PAINT

Th stave construction container bound by wood bands with tapered ends laced in to themselves and secured by iron tacks and staples, nice old blue paint with dry, alligatored surface.
Measures 9.75 x 10.50 inches.
Very good condition, noting the effects of age and use to some degree, splits, chips, replacement tacks, rubs, insect damage and light grime, all minor. The base appears to have been wet at one time resulting in very minor effects and loss of paint.
