28: A 19TH C. BLUE DECORATED JUG SIGNED MASON & RUSSELL

The New York stoneware jug of ovoid form with tooled lip over stamped mark and numeral 1 with cobalt blue flourish and stylized bird on the pronounced form, salt glaze, stamped mark of MASON & RUSSELL CORTLAND.
Measures 10 x 7 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor roughness on the spout, a glazed flaw on the handle, there are no chips, cracks or repairs.
