29: AN OPEN STRAIGHT-SIDED CROCK WITH FREEHAND DECORATION

The wide, half-round tooled rim over incised lines, lug handles and freehand numeral 6 surrounded by whimsical leaves and whirlwinds over a flourish and downward facing flower blossom, salt glaze, no markings found.
Measures 14 x 14 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor chips inside the rim in the Albany slip interior, a chip to one handle. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
