30: A 19TH C AMERICAN SEMI-OVOID BLUE DECORATED STORAGE JAR

The pronounced and flattened rim over two incised lines, impressed numeral 4, lug handles, slightly swelling form covered in meandering foliate designs in cobalt blue slip decoration overall, salt glaze, no other markings.
Measures 13.50 x 12 inches.
Good condition, noting a large chip at the rim and corresponding crack, there are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
