17: A 19TH CENTURY BLUE DECORATED JUG SIGNED S. S. PERRY

The New York stoneware jug with incised line at the tooled spout, scratched numeral 2 and ovoid form having freehand cobalt blue slip decoration of a stylized flower, salt glaze, stamped S. S. PERRY & CO. WEST TROY.
Measures 15 x 10 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor base roughness and firing lines at each end of the strap handle, plus a large flaw at the mouth. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
