47: A FIVE GALLON MIDWESTERN STONEWARE TWO-HANDLED JUG

The large beehive form with two strap handles joining the mouth, impressed numeral 5 with capital letter A on the shoulder, Albany slip glaze, no other markings.
Measures 16 x 12 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs.
Provenance: The estate of Glenda St. John.
