Titled 'Full Moon Montana', this work is signed lower right and dated 2013, the sight size through the mat is 19.75 x 15.75 and the frame measures 31.5 x 27.5 inches. Inscribed back side, "The Dog's name is Sage, the Cowboy is Lance Hallingstad from Chinook MT." And further, 'Sarah, Thank you for your support and friendship over the years...', a dedication to Sarah Burt who served as Chan and Clara Ferguson Chief Curator at the C. M. Russell Museum beginning in 2010. Artist Steven Oiestad is a '27 year veteran of the C.M. Russell Benefit Art Auction....in 2004, Steven was honored with the prestigious 'Honorary Chairman's Award' at the C.M. Russell art auction.' Provenance: The Estate of Sarah Burt.
