69: A VERY RARE STEIFF SPANIEL WITH COMPANY ARCHIVES TAG

The doubly rare figure of a King Charles Spaniel covered in long, thick, bright, clean unworn mohair, brown eyes with black centers, golden brown stitching includes the nose and mouth, worn blue ribbon at the neck, rarer still with the original 'eccentric' wood wheels that animate the figure while it's pulled along.

This Spaniel is from the archives of the Margarete Steiff GmbH, item number 1322ex, 1917, an archives tag on the chest, Steiff button complete with white cloth tag label in the ear.
Measures 9 x 15 inches.
Very good to fine condition throughout. There are no issues of wear, loss, damage, stain, odor, repair or wear. Fine, clean condition overall.
