The serpentine crest rail centered by a shell carving and foliates, open arms, down cushion of conforming shape tailored to the six-legged frame with carved undulating seat rails.
Measures 41.5 x 70 x 32, seat height 18.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges, faded, scattered light stain, no odor.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
