72: RARE PAIR ANTIQUE THAI GILT BRONZE TEMPLE ORNAMENTS

The proper pair of figural hamsa bird roof ornaments, gilt bronze castings embellished with small mirrored glass jewels, considered Rattanakosin period (1782 - 1932), each is mounted to a later teak wood plinth, probably date late 19th century.
Each measures 35 x 24 x 14 inches.
Very good original condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear, original red paint on the base and some interior areas.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
