106: A 19TH CENTURY SHIP'S LOG APPARATUS WITH SPINNER

The various elements as shown including brass or bronze spinner, cast brass or bronze wheel with eyelet hubs, connecting lines and brass-cased gauge with porcelain enamel dial having chapter ring to register 100s of miles while a smaller inner dial records the increments of 1 mile signed WALKER'S PATENT CHERUB, signed on the dial and fins of the spinner.
Sizes range from 23 x 10 to 46 x 6 inches.
Very good condition, noting the effects of age and use, no damage, repair or abuse.
