The husband and wife portrayals depicting a woman in dark-colored dress with much lace wearing a gold mesh choker set with red and blue gemstones along with a rectangular gold brooch at her waist. The gentleman wears a fine and elegant cravat.
Tin measures 21 x 13.75, frames are 24 x 16.75 inches each.
Good condition, noting minor issues consistent with age, usage and material including some minor oxidation back side, no major damage or repair.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
