The heavily carved wood undercarriage in original paint is further embellished by ornate wrought and sheet iron decoration incorporating numerous figures and multiple layers of scrolling iron decoration.
Measures 15.5 x 44 x 15 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
