16: A LATE 19TH C. EMPIRE STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED BERGERE

The rectangular scrolled crest rail centering a bronze stylized trophy roundel within scrolling roses and foliage modeled mounts, these flanked by projecting block wings centering bronze florette roundels and trailing foliate above a conforming padded back, padded sides flanked by square supports with elaborate bronze mounts, raised on turned tapering cylindrical legs, upholstered in leopard pattern covering. Measures 38.75 x 29.5 29.5 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
