168: AN EMPIRE STYLE GILT-BRONZE MOUNTED MAHOGANY GUERIDON

The circular molded top with inlaid marquetry of roses and ribbons, above a plain frieze with gilt rosettes, palmettes and crown of laurel, raised on three square tapering elongated legs with gilt female herms, gilt capitals and feet, supported on a triangular plinth with incurved sides. Measures 39.5 x 18 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
