291: AN EARLY 20TH C. LOUIS XVI STYLE MAHOGANY BERGERE

First half 20th century, the triple padded backrest surmounted by a gilt berried laurel and cabochon cresting continuing to shaped wings with a molded frame, padded armrests and scrolled molded stiles, gilt beaded trim to seat rail, raised on stop fluted tapering legs headed by gilt rosettes and ending in stiff leaf sabots. Upholstered in cream damask. Measures 41 x 26.5 x 29 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust.
