17: A 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN CROSS STITCH SAMPLER

A meandering cross stitched border surrounds a number of stitch samples of alphabet. Circa mid 19th century. The frame measures 19 x 18 inches.

Two small frayed spots, overall toning, minor fade, not examined outside of frame, appears very good.
