A MEISSEN PORCELAIN ALLEGORICAL FIGURE OF A MAIDEN

112: A MEISSEN PORCELAIN ALLEGORICAL FIGURE OF A MAIDEN

A 19th century Meissen porcelain allegorical figure of a maiden and others emblematic of 'scent' from the five senses; a goddess and cherub smelling flowers, dog and food, censor, all rising from a rocaille base with gilt highlights, faint blue crossed swords mark under glaze. Measures 10.25 x 5.5 x 4 inches.
We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good but for losses from the thin porcelain hangers of the censor suspended from the maiden's left hand. No major damage or repair. Figure with broken and missing censer chain, and chipped leaves.
