133: A CIRCA 1900 FRENCH BRONZE MOUNTED VITRINE

Hinged cushion-shaped top with plain (?) plate glass panel framed with gilt leafy encadrements lifting to reveal a red velvet lined display, conforming base with serpentine inset glass panel sides each within stylized acanthus cast encadrements, raised on cabriole legs headed by gilt brass acanthus chutes and terminating in brass sabots. Measures 29.5 x 26.5 x 19 inches.

Loosening at the hinge and a split with the joined wood. The hinge is functioning but loosened.
