A 19THC. POLE FIRE SCREEN WITH BEADED NEEDLEPOINT

239: A 19THC. POLE FIRE SCREEN WITH BEADED NEEDLEPOINT

A good Victorian rosewood pole fire screen. The cylindrical standard surmounted by an urn-form finial supporting a molded circular frame enclosing a needlepoint design of stylized scrolls and foliate with scrolling reticulated beading, the knopped and turned standard raised on four short cabriole legs. Measures 73 x 19.5 x 16 inches.
We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good original condition. Some very minor separation from age and wood shrinkage, one of these areas improved near the 12 o'clock position of the screen. There are no areas or issues of damage, repair or heavy wear.
