240: A CIRCA 1900 JACOBEAN INFLUENCE CARVED HALL CHAIR

Rectangular carved back, the reticulated crest rail centering a acanthus leaf flanked radial and vasiform (??) finials above barley twist stiles enclosing heavily carved vertical splat, on a rectangular padded slip seat, within a nulled carved seat rail, raised on front cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and joined by shaped H-stretcher, on whorl feet. Measures 51 x 20.5 x 18 inches.

Very good condition, there are no issues of damage, repair or stain, scattered small areas of rubbed finish.
