Boulle marquetry ebonized Cabinet on Stand, In two parts, recessed upper section with arched cornice surmounted with gilt brass urn finials, above a serpentine frieze and pair of paneled doors opening to reveal fitted shelf, over two short drawers; the table fitted with a brushing slide inset with bordeaux velvet over long frieze full-width, raised on cabriole legs with gilt metal espanglottes and sabots; the whole in ebonized wood with fine foliate cut brass inlay on a scarlet ground. 59 x 31.5 x 21 inches.

One area only of brass inlay having lifted on the table surface as shown, no loss of brass inlay. No other areas of brass inlay lifting or loss. Minor edge bumps, rubs and loss of ebonized finish. No major damage or repair. Good to very good condition taking into account the effects of age and use.
