275: A 19TH C. FRENCH LOUIS XVI AUBUSSON ARM CHAIR

The giltwood medallion leaf-carved and padded back with ribbon crest, curved padded arms with acanthine and channeled carved supports, bowed seat and raised on twisted chandelles d'asperges fluted legs headed by cabochon and laurel die join ending in stiff leaf collars and short toupie feet. Upholstered in Aubusson tapestry featuring a provincial boy playing the flute within a floral reserve and seat with a nursing lamb in pastoral setting. Measures 41.5 x 27.5 x 21 inches.
We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Good condition overall, losses to the original gold finish, minor wear and minor fraying throughout the tapestry covering, mild even toning of the upholstery, no major stain, no damage or repair.
