276: A VICTORIAN EBONIZED STAND WITH MARBLE

Circular white marble top added to a fluted wood standard stemming from a wide crown with gilt mounts rising from a tapering fluted standard enclosing fleur d'asperges chandelles and turned knotted stem supported by three downsweeping legs headed by gilt panther, each biting on ring that links a gilt medallion and ending in acanthine sabots, tripartite base. 43.5 x 16 inches.
