12: AARON PYLE (1903-1972) EGG TEMPERA ON ARTIST'S BOARD

Titled 'Homesteaders' verso and noted 'Done in egg tempera Winter 62/63 Aaron Pyle', signed front lower right and dated 63. The work itself measures 20 x 16 while the Hawaiian Acacia koa wood frame measures 22.75 x 18.75 inches. Provenance: a gift direct from the artist to the consignor's mother, herself an artist and a companion of Mr. Pyle. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very light soiling to the surface, minor rubs to the surface upper half, center area, a large chip right side extreme edge.
